Here’s some excitement for you…its Hay! Yay!
Finally a solid stretch of unadulterated sunshine, clear blue skies, and 30C days. Lew and the Gianforte contractor team are back (after their Silage operations a few weeks ago) and we will fill the sheds with our multi-species pasture cut as Hay & baled in large rounds. Multiple varieties of Rye Grasses, Purple and White Clovers, Chicory, Radish, Turnip, Cocksfoot and more … there is plenty of fodder here and with the season so good, we just cant keep the cattle on top of the growth so we will bale our own this year – for next.
