What a season! This is normally a quiet break but January ’23 has seen us cutting hay in mid Summer, such has been the weather this year. After the heavy rainfalls and floods, we haven’t been able to get Tractors or equipment onto a lot of our paddocks but this week has delivered some 30C warm weather and a bit of a dry spell so with abundant feed standing across St.Fillan Farm, we decided to cut Hay and fill out our sheds.We will still buy-in Hi-Protein and 10ME level fodder later but as they say…”Make Hay While the Sun Shines”
